Veteran Microsoft Technology Executive John Fikany Joins Quicken Loans as Vice President of Strategy

John FikanyDETROIT, January 25, 2016 – Detroit-based Quicken Loans, the nation’s second largest retail mortgage lender, today announced veteran Detroit technology executive John Fikany has joined the company as Vice President of Strategy. In the newly created role, Fikany will be responsible for development of strategy and execution for large technology and other initiatives, while identifying and leveraging technology and business opportunities within Quicken Loans and its family of companies.

Most recently, Fikany served as General Manager and Vice President of Microsoft’s Enterprise Sales and Partner Group. In his Vice President role, he led Microsoft’s enterprise sales in 18 U.S. states and oversaw nearly 1,000 employees. In his 12 years at the company he also held a number of other senior level roles, including Vice President of U.S. Commercial Sector Industries. Prior to joining Microsoft, Fikany also held multiple vice president sales roles at Oracle.
