Certification and Authorization Form
The Certification and Authorization form is a document that you’re required to sign to certify that all the information you provided during the application process is true and complete. The information on the form refers to the purpose of the loan, the amount and source of the down payment, employment and income information, and assets and liabilities information.
In addition to certifying that you’ve made no misrepresentations, you’re also authorizing the release of credit and employment information. As part of the application and approval process, your lender may verify information contained in your application and other documents before the loan is closed. In signing the authorization form, you also give your lender permission to sell your loan to another company.
