Some lucky golfers won cash from Quicken Loans to use toward their mortgage payments for hitting golf targets during Rocket Mortgage Madness at Topgolf in Scottsdale. What’s more, PGA TOUR phenom and four-time winner Rickie Fowler was on hand to take some shots for them.

Golfers were given a chance to earn cash for successfully completing a variety of golf challenges throughout the day. Then, Rickie stepped up to the tee and used his pro expertise and skill to earn some extra cash for the lucky golfers.

In addition to testing their golf skills, we were also able to surprise and delight participants throughout the day. One contestant won money for requesting left-handed clubs. A first-time golfer won money, too! We even gave one group coupons for $500 just for coming out and participating in the event. In total, we gave away $40,500. Everyone got a chance to enjoy a little madness!

You could imagine the fun and money that started to flow. You could imagine it, or you can just see it: Check out the video above to see the action!

    1. Hi Rita:

I’m sorry about this. I know it’s not ideal, but until this is fixed, the best thing to do is to double tap the home button on your device. That should bring up a list of your apps in window form. Once you’ve done this, swipe the Words with Friends window up. This will close the app. From there, you should be able to really open and continue your game. We’re working on a fix, but for right now, that’s how you get around it. These instructions work on iOS where we’ve seen the issues. If you have a different type of device, let us know.

      Thanks,
      Kevin Graham

  1. I don’t know how long others have had this problem, but I have been stuck here for over an hour. This sucks . Hope to never get in this mire again!!!!

    1. Hi Nancy:

I hope this isn’t the case, but if it’s still frozen, try restarting. We are actively working on a fix for this.

      Thanks,
      Kevin Graham

  2. I’ve been stuck on this ad for over 10 minutes! How frustrating! No “X” to click on, and no place to say “no thanks”!!

    1. Hi MM:

That’s definitely not the intention. Could you please provide additional details regarding your operating system and browser so we can see if we can replicate the issue and identify the problem.

      Thanks,
      Kevin Graham

      1. There was no “No thanks” and I can’t get rid of your pop up ad. The video doesn’t even play. I have an iPhone 6 and it has iOS 10.2.1. I don’t have this problem with other pop ups, it must be something with YOUR system. You should have thoroughly checked it out before you launched it — on a variety of devices and systems. Don’t blame someone who didn’t even ask for the ad about golf in the first place. Hate golf. Fix this even if you have to take it down to do it!

  3. Haven’t heard anything about PGA and Quicken’s Hole-In-One promotion for 2017. Will it repeat ?

    Thanks,

  4. Popped up and I cannot get you off my computer. After 20 minutes of trying I am learning to hate this site. How do I get rid of you tried to opt out and nothing happened. Going to turn off the tablet and hope you are gone in the morning.

    1. Hi Jean:

We want people to be able to spend a lot of time on our site, but not by not being able to get off. If you’re referring to our pop up about our Bring on the Spring Sweepstakes, I just tested it on my phone and the pop-up disappears when I hit no thanks. From what you’re describing, it sounds like the actual web browser might be frozen. If restarting your tablet doesn’t work, please feel free to give us some additional detail on what tablet, web browser and operating system you’re using and we can see if we can replicate the issue. I’m going to send you an email.

      Thanks,
      Kevin Graham

        1. Hi Debbie:

We’re actively looking into this with our tech team now. If you could send along your web browser and any information about the operating system/device you’re using, it’ll help us isolate the problem. I’m sorry about this.

          Thanks,
          Kevin Graham
