  4. MyQL Grounded, Launching Your Future Servicing Experience with Rocket Mortgage
Young man working at home

Since November 2015, Quicken Loans has hurtled the mortgage industry into the 21st century with Rocket Mortgage, our completely online mortgage origination experience.

However, once you close your loan, you’re taken to our MyQL website, where you can register your online account and digitally manage your mortgage with everything from monthly payments to checking your home’s equity.

In an effort to make things more seamless for you, MyQL is being taken offline and is being replaced with Rocket Mortgage on the launchpad. This means if you’re familiar with the existing Rocket Mortgage interface, it’s going to feel like a very familiar experience when you use the new tools to make your payments and get other information about your loan.

If you’re more familiar with the MyQL experience, you’ll use your same username and password to login. Many new features have already begun to roll out in previous site updates. All of the great functions and capabilities you currently enjoy are still there.

Since the MyQL app has been redesigned and rebranded as Rocket Mortgage, you might want to take a look at the website or the mobile app. In this article, we’ll go over what’s different and how this redesign aims to make your mortgage experience even easier.

Speed and Convenience on the Go

Rocket Mortgage has been all about bringing speed and convenience to your loan process. We aim to bring all of that same ease-of-use to you when you use our servicing websites or mobile app to make a payment or get other information regarding your loan.

To that end, we know that most people using MyQL on mobile devices are quickly making a payment on the go. You’ll be able to login faster on your phone with the addition of face ID for iOS and touch ID for iOS and Android.

Once you’re inside the new Rocket Mortgage app, you’ll be taken to our new and improved payment center, where you’ll see your payment amount right away.

In addition to making payments, you’ll be able to do everything you’ve always used MyQL mobile for, including transaction histories and viewing important documents (1098s, billing and escrow statements). You’ll also be able to set up push notifications.

Revamped Website

Beginning this past July, we redesigned our website to give you access to more useful information about not only your loan, but your home.

You’re now able to see new resources to check your neighborhood’s house values. You can also use our data to get a better idea of the equity you have in your home based on your property value as well as your remaining loan balance.

In addition to these features, you can also get a peek at the upcoming loan activity, including monthly payments and escrow disbursements as well as a look at the status of your escrow account.

New Look, Same Great Function

The website and app have been given a new look and feel to match the experience offered by Rocket Mortgage. Despite the fresh coat of paint, all of the major features have been retained.

In addition, all of your account information has been protected throughout the transition to the new site. Both the website and app remain optimized with the security and privacy of your information in mind.

Our emails and letters to you will now reference the new Rocket Mortgage site and app instead of MyQL. We’ll still be providing you the same great services.

If you haven’t checked out the Rocket Mortgage app recently, it’s time to give it another look. If you’re on your computer, check out the website as well.

  1. I am also having difficulty finding where to make a payment. This is supposed to be easier? It Takes more time to find the log-in than to make the payment.

    1. Hi A.D.,
I’m sorry you’re having trouble. If you’re having trouble finding the login page, here’s a direct link to login. I’m going to pass this along to our Client Relations team so they can see your feedback and we can make sure we get you taken care of today. Thanks for reaching out!

  2. I’m trying to make a payment, seems like every month it gets more difficult to find things. Now I can’t even find where to log in. And it says “Easier than ever”

    1. Hi Loren:

Here’s the link to login. I’m sorry about the confusion. I’m going to pass this along to our Client Relations team so they can see your feedback and we can make sure we get you taken care of today. Thanks for reaching out!

  3. It used to be easy and convenient to make payments, now it is very difficult. It seems all i get is advertisements for a new loan but no page where i can pay my loan, why did you make this hard? It was so easy. In short, the new foremat SUCKS!!!!

    1. Hi Daniel:

I’m sorry to hear you’re having this experience. I’m going to get this to our Client Relations team to look into what’s going on with your account. You shouldn’t be getting solely advertisements for a new loan when you’re simply trying to make a payment. I understand your frustration. We’ll be looking into this. Thank you!

  4. I have wasted time in trying to find a familiar looking screen so that I can make a payment. Please don’t change the way to make papyments.
It is hard for some seniors to make sudden changes.

    1. Hi Wilma:

I’m sorry you’re having trouble making your payment. I’m going to get this over to our Client Relations team to make sure we get you taken care of. I hope this helps!

  5. You need to put some money into training. The first associate I worked with reminded me of a car salesman. He wasn’t paying attention to what I wanted and kept trying to sell me a refi with terms I didn’t like. He kept texting, calling and emailing me rushing me to make a decision. Then the payoff figures were wrong. I gave the figures to a director and was told he’d pass them on to underwriting to update. Was told 3 days later I needed to have the credit card companies email them an updated statement. They dragged my closing out 7 extra days. Just to find out some dumb ass put the wrong number in and one of my credit cards payments was going to be short $500!

This was my second disappointing go round with Quicken Loans…fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. There will be NO third time.

    1. Hi Chris:

I apologize for your experience. We want to look into this. I’m going to get this to our Client Relations team. Thank you for reaching out!

    1. Hi Dayla:

I’m sorry you’re having trouble making your payment. I’m going to get this over to our Client Relations team to make sure we get you taken care of. Have a great night!

  6. I have to agree with Robert. I have a new loan with Quicken. I cannot seem to navigate to a place to view my mortgage and make my first payment. Everything sends me to a place for an application for a new mortgage. Very frustrating and a tremendous waste of time clicking around.

  7. MyQL was very simple to log-in to in order to make a mortgage payment. This revamped Rocket Mortgage site is nothing but frustrating! You already have my business, so quit trying to “sell” me on a loan. I’ve been patient for the last couple of months with the change, to no avail. Please fix this problem!

    1. Hi Robert:

We’re absolutely not trying to constantly sell you on a loan. That really wouldn’t make sense for you. You should always have the option to get a loan if you want it, but it should be something that you deliberately seek out. I’m going to make sure to get this over to our client relations team to make sure we look at your account and get this fixed up for you.

      Thanks,
      Kevin Graham

    1. Hi Larry:

The new payment page is at servicing.rocketmortgage.com. I’m also going to get this over to our Client Relations Team so we can have someone reach out and make sure you don’t run into any other issues. Thanks!

      Kevin Graham

      1. That web site also does not work you get this message:
        WHOOPS! Something broke.
It’s what the nerds call an “Internal Server Error.” It means that this is our bad, and we are working hard to fix the problem.

        Please try again later.

        1. Hi Cheryl:

The site appears to be working now, but I’m going to make sure I get this to our tech team to look into the issues you’re having as well as client relations to make sure we get any payment issues taken care of. We’ll be in touch.

          Thanks,
          Kevin Graham

          1. I am still not able to make my payment and keep getting the same WHOOPS something broke notification. Is your site down or is there a new one?

          2. Hi Cheryl:

The site appears to be working when I go there. Is it happening when you get there or after you login? What browser are you using? Any detail you can provide will help us identify the problem.

            Thanks,
            Kevin Graham

    1. Hi Guy:

I’m going to get this over to our client relations team to help you out, but we recently rebranded our website. The new address is servicing.rocketmortgage.com. I’m going to go ahead and have someone reach out. Have a good night!

      Thanks,
      Kevin

Our new site is servicing.rocketmortgage.com. If you wanted to, you should definitely have time to mail it as well. For future reference, the grace period is a couple weeks.

            Thanks,
            Kevin Graham

      Thanks,
      Kevin Graham

  14. Where is the link now to access my current mortgage loan that I have had with Quicken since last May? I log on and it only allows me to go through the new loan process and there are no other options! I mainly want to get my mortgage information for tax purposes, but at this moment it won’t let me see any of my account.

    1. Hi Michelle:

We’re going through an account transition to a new site. I’m going to have someone reach out to you regarding this and make sure we get everything taken care of for you so you can get your information.

      Thanks,
      Kevin Graham

    2. So then I am not going crazy with this new transition. Every time I use my login and password I get the very first screen that says start a new loan or refinance all I wanna do is get in to check my account. Can someone please assist me

      1. Hi Vickie:

No one thinks you’re going crazy and we would be happy to look into this and help you out. I’m going to have someone from our Client Relations team reach out. Have a great day!

        Thanks,
        Kevin Graham

    1. Hi Hilda:

You should be able to login with your old MyQL username and password. It’s the same account. If you don’t remember your username and password, there are options to reset them. With that said, I’m going to make sure we get this to our Client Relations team to make sure you get help.

  18. I agree your new system is horrible. I faithfully make my payment online each month. I just came across this thread as I have been trying to access your site for sometime. Disappointed as I have never had this many issues with your online system in the past 16 years.

  24. Have been trying to sign in to my account and only getting info on refinance or new loan info. I need to get into my current account for payment and escrow information on my current mortgage from the “old” MyQL login site.
    Thanks, Steven Curtis

    1. Hi Steven:

You should be able to get to your current information from the new site. I’m going to get this over to our Client Relations team to have someone look into this for you. Thanks for reaching out!

      Kevin Graham

      1. I’m having the same problem and then some…
I can’t sign in to my account on the website, it only allows me to start a new loan. On the app I can access my existing loan BUT the next scheduled autopay is shown as 2/7 – this is wrong! I have it set up to autopay on the 7th of each month ever since last September and the last payment is 12/7, so the next scheduled autopay should say 1/7.

        1. Hi Dave:

I’m going to make sure we get this over to our client relations team to get it taken care of for you. Thanks for reaching out!
