The Zing Blog team has been waiting (impatiently) ever since Chip and Joanna Gaines announced they’d be releasing a home decor line with Target. On Sunday, all of our home decor dreams came true when Hearth & Hand, the greatly anticipated product line, launched in Target stores nationwide.
So what did we do? We went to the store and bought all the things, obviously.
Okay, not all the things, because you know, budgets. But we did buy a few of our favorite things. Take a look at some of our favorites from the new Hearth & Hand line to see how they can turn your place into a Fixer-Upper dream (minus the shiplap).
Kitchen and Dining
The first thing on our list? New dinnerware.
My fellow Zing writer, Aly and myself love having friends over for dinner or brunch. We were looking for new place settings for our get-togethers this fall/winter season and let me tell you, Hearth & Hand did not disappoint.
We really fell in love with the matte finishes and rough edges on the ceramics in the collection. It pairs perfectly with the industrial feel of the galvanized details.
Chip and Joanna Gaines have developed a style all their own. It’s a minimal take on rustic chic. One of our favorite prints they’ve utilized is the black and white X pattern. We paired the black and white pattern with green (another common color in the new collection) to bring some warmth and life to it.
The glassware in the Hearth & Hand line is gorgeous! They carried the X pattern through to their glasses (which come in clear or green). The green glasses will add a special touch to any place setting. How great would these goblets look on your Thanksgiving table?
Next on the list? Holiday décor!
Confession time, I might have already started decorating for the holidays, and a little Gaines style is just what I need to put the finishing touches on my place.
What’s great about the Hearth & Hand décor is that it’s definitely still festive but very modern.
They have a great collection of wreaths for your home too. One of our favorites is the juniper wreath with a little bell on it. How cute is that? And the hoop ring is very on trend.
You know those winter scenes with little houses? You can upgrade your set with the white or black house bud vases. I don’t think these are technically part of the holiday collection, but they could easily double as holiday décor.
Décor and Accents
If there’s one thing the Gaines family knows how to do, it’s make you feel comfy and cozy. That’s exactly what we found with their home décor.
We decided to carry the black, white and green theme we had going with the place settings. One of our favorite finds was the knit, cream and green tassel blanket which went perfectly with the plaid pillow and my gray sofa.
The candles in this line are perfect. You’ll definitely smell the scent, but the fragrances aren’t over powering. One of our favorites was the Balsam and Spice scent. The come in a range of jars and sizes so they can match almost any space.
Metallics are another theme in the Hearth & Hand line that are pretty hard to miss. One of the pieces we think will be the most popular is the taper candle holder. You can fill the box with greens, ornaments, knick-knacks or just leave it empty for a more minimal feel.
The real show stopper is this mirrored copper tray. The base is mirrored and the sides are copper and it can be used as a tray or hung on the wall to become a mirror. Anything that serves more than one purpose is a win in my book!
Those are our top picks from the Hearth & Hand line, but there was so much to choose from. Do you have favorites we didn’t list here? Share them in the comment section!
