    1. Hi Patrick:

Unfortunately, we haven’t run this particular contest since 2014. I do invite you to check out the Rocket Mortgage® Homestretch Sweepstakes that we just launched today. We’re selecting 20 winners to send to the Kentucky Derby®. Each winner will draw a horse. If their horse wins, they’ll get the grand prize of $250,000. You can enter here. Have a wonderful day!

      1. Hi Arlene:

While we have no announcements to make it this time, we do periodically run sweepstakes and other promotions. Check back periodically. Thanks!

  1. Anthony,
On my bracket it says I am rank #1 and won 32 games of the 48 played. Does this mean I am I’m running for $100000?

    1. Hey John, Are you sure that you are looking at the correct leaderboard? I’m seeing something different than what you are describing. Many people fill out different brackets and join different pools. Please make sure that you are looking at the leaderboard for the Quicken Loans® Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge with Yahoo Sports. Thanks!

  2. Hey does anyone know if there is a prize for winning Chris Paul’s or any of the 4 celebrity basketball pools including Darnell Anthony and Paul George and Chris josh?

  3. I submitted my brackets on Wednesday at 4:00pm….it gave me a response of “your in” and told me i cannot view my brackets until the tournament starts….now all my brackets picks are gone and it says “none”….so far i have only missed 2…..because i made s screen shot of what i submitted…but nooooooooo yahoo says i didn’t make any picks….what a bogus public relations…i am contacting an attorney if my picks hold in the top 20…..any one else up for a class action lawsuit?

  4. I filled out my bracket and received a confirmation from quicken loans. However I have been unable to view my bracket as of today. Please advise

  5. I filled in my bracket, completed the registration on time but when i check the live updated bracket it says it is incomplete. I can see the bracket i completed and it is assigned to my user name but not the quicken challenge.

  6. I accidentally created two brackets. The one I filled out completely is the one I meant to have entered, but the system took the incomplete one. Is there any way to switch which bracket is entered?

  7. Hi,

I filled out my bracket prior to the deadline and saved it, but when I went to check my bracket after games were played it says I have no picks. Is it possible this is because only the first 15,000,000 registrants are allowed? Even if that were the case, why would it say I’ve made no picks? Cause I could still “play for bragging rights”.

  8. I was able to submit and save my bracket before the deadline, but when I get the email saying verifying my email address, it wouldn’t let me verify it. I used several different browsers such as IE, Firefox, and Chrome and it would let me proceed with it. Now since the games have already begun, it just shows that my bracket is there, but not verified for submission to the Billion Dollar Challenge. Any help would be grateful.

  9. You guys dumb, it was so easy to fill out and submit; it takes you to DL the yahoo bracket app and you fill it out there and submit. hahaha

  10. I entered the bracket challenge. I also started a pool with my family. My bracket is now not in the pool. I can still view my billion dollar challenge bracket. Can I copy that bracket into the pool? I am currently an admin of a pool for which I do not have a bracket entered.

  11. Hi,
I teach 4th and 5th graders and we had a lot of fun doing the math around this sweepstakes. We didn’t enter – but we’d love to watch the standing and see how many of the 15 million entries are still in. Is there any place we can do that?

  12. I can’t print my bracket either. I get a popup message that the document is “flattening” and it ultimately prints a blank page. Can anyone tell me how they got theirs to print?

  13. I filled out a bracket, and clicked the confirmation link in the e-mail on the 19th. Now when I look at my bracket, it states that it is too late to join. What gives? I already joined, Did I have to submit the bracket in some other means?

  14. Victoria,

I’m fairly surprised that you’re still responding, with professionalism, to people who have mostly become victims of their own laziness. I hope you know that you can not bestow accountability into any of these people, but again, I applaud your patience.

    1. HI Donna, you should be able to see it when you log into your Yahoo account under “My Brackets and Pools.” I’ve also sent you an email. Thanks.

  15. Hello, I completed my bracket and saved it before the deadline, however the confirmation email was blocked by my spam filter and I did not receive it until after the deadline. Does this mean I’m not eligible for the contest?

    1. Hi Tom, the cutoff for the bracket was 1 a.m. ET March 20, all picks had to be saved prior to that time. Thanks.

  16. Other people were getting the same error message as me. I tried for 4 days to get a bracket and kept getting the error message. This is all a silly scam

  17. I tried and tried to get a bracket, but the message, “we are sorry, the brackets are not working right now, we’ll have this problem resolved soon” WTF!!!! I never got a chance to get abracket and the deadline has passed.

    1. Hi Joseph,
You should be able to see your bracket by logging into your Yahoo account and looking under “My Brackets and Pools.” Thanks

    1. Hi Kristen, if you did not register for the bracket challenge prior to 1 a.m ET, you would not be eligible for any prizes. Thanks.

  18. I have two correct picks in my Billion Dollar Bracket so far but it still says 0/63 correct picks… Is something wrong? Does my bracket not count?

  19. You say the top 20 imperfect brackets will win $100,000 each. Is that based on the brackets that make it the furthest without a loss? Or overall losses?

    1. Hi Speer, you should be able to sign into your Yahoo account and find it under “My Brackets and Pools” thanks.

  20. I live in GA and I waited until after the Tennessee/Iowa game last night to pick the winner of the 2nd round matchup against UMASS. I picked Tennessee right after the game finished and saved my picks. This morning when I checked my bracket over I noticed it wasnt showing anybody picked to win the game. What can I do to fix this before the game is actually played.

  21. have 2 late entries for our personal pool. can they join our pool even though they would not be entered to win any money? Also, one of brackets is out of our personal pool. Can i place it in our personal pool still?

  22. I tried since 10:00 this morning to finish my bracket and could not do it, all the picks I didn’t make last night were put in as incorrect picks this morning with no way to change them. What gives????

    1. Hi Jesse, the challenge closed at 1 a.m. ET on March 20 and all choices had to be made prior to that time. Thanks.

  23. I live in GA and I waited until after the Tennessee/Iowa game to make my pick for Tennessees 2nd round game with UMASS. I picked Tennessee and saved. This morning its not showing anybody selected. Is there any way to get this resolved?

  24. I’ve signed up but I can’t drop and drag my picks, even though I could do it a couple of days ago, can you help me?

    1. Hi Ron, the challenge closed at 1 a.m. ET on March 20 and all choices had to be made prior to that time. Thanks.

  25. I think I successfully entered the billion dollar bracket challenge on time, but I don’t know if I clicked save is there anyway to find out if I was successfully entered.

  26. I cannot get the bracket to take any picks at all – if I click on a name or a bracket, it just goes back to the yahoo home page – been doing that for about an hour – what gives?

    1. Hi Sara, the bracket challenge closed at 1 a.m. ET on March 20, I’m sorry if you didn’t have a chance t enter prior to that.

  27. I tried last night multiple times and kept getting an error. It was prior to 1am eastern time. I used firefox and safari. This is lame.

  28. Why did the bracket entry close at 10 pm Pacific on Wednesday? That’s more than 12 hours before the tournament starts and only two hours after the last play-in game ended. And it was a pivotal play-in game for the #11 seed in the Midwest. I went to enter my bracket on Thursday morning, but was locked out. It doesn’t appear as if Yahoo Sports understands the NCAA tournament.

  29. Are you checking? I kept getting a “click link in your email” message to enter and there was no email and no link. I would like to know if my bracket was submitted.

  30. I have been trying to set up my bracket for the past week. I started the registration process well before the March 16th deadline, but kept getting loading errors the entire way through. I have to ask to have the verification code and emails sent multiple times. Now it won’t let me complete my bracket. I want to complete my bracket, and I gave the information prior to the deadline, now I am not going to make the deadline for the brackets. Please help me with this! We all know it’s for publicity for all companies involved, but it will look really bad if people trying to sign up/make brackets can’t.

  31. Dear Mr. Buffett and Quicken Loans®:

I am disappointed I could not use my computer until this morning and thus was unable to complete your Billion Dollar Challenge. I did make my picks in the Tourney Pick-Em at Yahoo…before their deadline of 9:15 am PDT and I have attached the webpage site. I think I will have a winner and even though I was unable to meet your early deadline because of tech issues, I thought I would at least go on record and submit this to your company and Mr. Buffett.

Thanks and best to all of you,

    Robert Phelps

    1. Hi Brandon, the bracket closed at 1 a.m. ET, all edits would have needed to be done by that time. Thanks and good luck.

    1. Hi Linda, If you clicked save on your bracket on quickenloansbracket.com it would have been submitted. You should be able to see it on Yahoo under the “My Brackets and Pools” tab.

  32. How are you closing registration 11 hours before tip off? This seems excessively early.

    – One annoyed procrastinator

  33. I still haven’t gotten e-mail confirmation after 10 days of trying. Have been on hold on phone for an hour. I now only have 2 hours to fill out bracket.

  34. I want to congratulate Quicken on a REALLY bad execution.

Although I understand that the 1am deadline was part of the rules, pretty much every other Online NCAA bracket I have been a part of closes at 11am or noon on the Thursday the ‘real’ games start. Had I received a reminder e-mail, I would be a little less frustrated at the different time.

Prior to this venture, I had no real opinion on Quicken loans. When I heard about the bracket, I thought, “Cool, maybe I’ll get some e-mails from Quicken with some financing opportunities.” Good publicity; good marketing. Now, after not being able to sign-up, I think, “Quicken sucks. If they can’t execute a simple bracket picking well, why would I trust them with my finances?”

    1. Hi Ben, I’m sorry if you had technical difficulties with your bracket. I have sent you a direct email as well. Thanks.

  35. I have a pdf of my paper bracket to show that I completed it before the first game. I’m not sure how to get it to you but I could email it if you will tell me an email address. But here is the place listed in my downloads where I sent it /Users/steveneburk/Downloads/photo.JPG

    1. Hi Steven, if you submitted your bracket by hitting save on quickenloansbracket.com you should be all set. Thanks and good luck.

  36. I completed my bracket and printed it off after saving it. If you want to go online and look at it, how do you pull your own bracket up? And (not that it’ll happen, i’m sure) if I win, how does it work in terms of notification. Just my luck, I’ll win and won’t be able to prove my bracket! I tried to sign back in to the yahoo account I had to create and it says that it has expired and I have to create a new account. Frustrating.

    1. Hi Gary, If you made your picks and clicked save, your bracket was automatically submitted at the cutoff time at 1 a.m. ET on March 20. Thanks.

    1. Hi Roger, You can view your bracket by visiting QuickenLoansBracket.com (logging in if not already) and then click on your bracket name. Thanks

  37. I was working on my Bracket in the evening of March 19. I decided to go to bed and get up early on the 20th to finish my work, partly because I was tired and partly because I wanted to make sure that Tennesee won before completing my predictions. I got on again about 10:45 pm on the 19th, not intending to work on my bracket until morning, but noticed that my bracket had None writen in red with a red line through it on all the lines where I had not yet made an entry. I didn’t worry about it at that time, because I thought it was just a reminder to hurry and finish and submit my bracket before the first game listed on the bracket began. This morning, the 20th at about 5 am, I came back to my computers to study and make my predictions on my paper copy of the bracket, which I planned to transfer.

I finished my paper copy and went to my online bracket to transfer my predictions. Only then did I realize that the bracket could no longer be changed.

I went next to the rules. I could find no deadline time in the rules. After looking around for awhile I asked what was the deadline for submitting my completed bracket and pulled up a site that said the deadline was 1 am on the 20th (today)

So I have three points to make based on that.
    1) having to go somewhere outside the rules to find out when the deadline is, is not fair notice.
    2) I should be able to submit my completed bracket any time before the first game starts as there is no possibility of my being helped out by any game information on my bracket until that time
    3) my bracket was closed before the deadline.

This hard to find deadline, which was activated early in my case (and, I’m guessing, everyone else’s) appears to be an attempt to prevent legitimate entrants from participating in the billion dollar challenge. I think I should still be able to complete and submit my challenge bracket.

  38. This is BS, every pool in the country closes at noon today, wtf would they close yesterday???? Nonsense!!!

  39. Way to be the only bracket challenge on the internet that requires people to register and fill out their bracket 12 hours early. Morons…

  40. Can you please remove my bracket. I accidentally filled it out and submitted it when I shouldn’t have. I do not want to be a part of this contest. How do I remove myself from the Quicken Loans® bracket?

  41. The servers were too busy when I tried earlier in the week and now I’m too late even though the games are hours from starting. Screw you Warren Buffett and Dan Gilbert! At least I know the last place I’ll call for a loan now.

    1. Hi Shane, If you saved your bracket your picks should all be in there. I’m sending your comment to Yahoo as well. Thanks.

  42. So what happens when this stupid site glitches and doesnt save all the picks you had?!?! I had all 63 made, then I wake up to see my NC State pick is a no pick. I know before I went to bed I had all 63 selections made! What a joke yahoo sports is

    1. Hi Edwin, the bracket closed at 1 a.m. ET that was the last opportunity to submit your picks. I’ve sent you an email as well. Thanks.

  43. I tried repeatedly to fill in my bracket yesterday/last night and the website wouldn’t let me do it. When I woke up this morning and tried it again it conveniently worked….after the deadline. That’s B.S. Not that I would have the perfect bracket anyway, but I agree with some of the other comments. You take our info and we can’t complete the bracket. Seeing as the games don’t start for another few hours an exception should be made for those of us that had issues with the site. Now I’m stuck in the “free game”….oh boy.

  44. This is ridiculous
I did everything required two weeks ago. Went to enter bracket and kept getting message that my phone number was used. Never allowed me any way to enter. I better NOT receive a single call or I mailing from your company. I didn’t get to enter a bracket….you don’t get to contact me. Sleazy way to get consumer information. In fact….send me one email on how to remove myself from anything associated your company. This was supposed to be fun. Not.

  45. I filled out my bracket and submitted it and I go back to my bracket to check it and its not there is there anyway I can get more time to resubmit and this is clearly not my fault to confirm

  46. I got a perfectly wrong bracket, that’s what happened. Can I please put in the picks I had or can it find the picks I had! I at least want a chance, sucks that I already lost before the dang thing starts!

  47. My bracket gave me all “None” for all my picks? I registered long before the deadline and filled it out. Is there some kind of glitch? It literally saved none of my picks! Bogus

    1. HI Tim, I’m not sure what happened there so i sent your message to Yahoo Sports, thanks for your patience!

  48. O.K. cool, pretty sure it did I put in the code from my text but then it said verify mobile & each time I clicked that button it brought up a white screen but I did save my Bracket & also entered Chris Paul’s Pool. Only thing that worried me was I received an E-mail at 6:12 PM EST saying I was so close to entering but needed to verify my mobile. Is there a way to verify?

  49. I registered and started filling out a bracket but now it wont let me do anything to it. Did I miss my chance to join the billion bracket pool even though I signed up a while ago?

    1. Hi Eric, the deadline to enter the challenge was at 1 a.m. ET, if you did not complete your bracket by then, unfortunteley, you would not be eligible. Thank you.

    1. HI Ron, Your bracket would’ve been submitted successfully once you hit the save button. As long as you did that you will be fine. Thanks for participating and good luck!

  50. love march madness cant believe how huge it has become since high school (1994) remember doing it on paper

  51. My dad type all his pick and pushed submit, but the response was error and now it will not let him enter. anything. Its saying none in all the spots. The deadline says 1am and it was 12:05 when he submitted. Thanks

  52. I attempted to save my bracket just before 12:00 a.m. CDT. It did not save. An error message came up saying that the bracket submission period had closed. I looked at my clock and it still read 11:59. I checked the accuracy of my clock; it is synced exactly with the Official U.S. time (time.gov). Is there any way I can get in? I saved my picks in a “non-challenge bracket.”

No relevant games have been played in the tournament, so I have no advantage over any other participant. I was really excited about this competition, and hope this technical error does not leave a bad taste in my mouth. I hope you do not choose to lose a potential customer over giving him 1:9,223,372,036,854,775,808 odds in a competition.

    1. Hi Bob, I understand you were having technical issues with the site, and it sounds like perhaps you did not have a chance to submit your bracket before the deadline. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

  53. I am having difficulty getting to the brackets to make my picks for the billion dollar challenge; the website freezes and won’t advance to where I can make picks.

    1. Hi Chad, please try a different browser or device and it should work for you. I’ve also sent you an email directly. Thanks and good luck!

  54. This is another scam by Warren buffet. I have tried for two hours to join his billion dollar bracket scam. After they took my name, address, age, and if I was think of buying a new home soon. Then there is no ability to fill out a bracket. I only hope Warren Buffet doesn’t steal my idenity.

    1. Hi Mark, this is not a scam, you are likely experiencing some technical difficulties, please try a new browser or device to enter and that should work. I have also sent you an email. Thanks for your patience!

  55. I already registered and completed one bracket. I am trying to complete a 2-nd bracket and are having difficulty doing so. It will not allow me to complete the 2-nd bracket. What can i do to complete the 2-nd bracket.

    1. Hi Harry, For the challenge you can only submit one bracket per person. Good luck and thanks for participating!

  56. I registered and filled out my bracket and hit save but how do you submit the bracket?
Is it submitted simply by saving it?

    1. Hi Erin, When you are finished making your selections, click “Save Bracket” to submit your bracket. Your bracket will auto submit on March 20, 2014, at 1:00 a.m. EDT. You will not be able to make changes after this time.
