There’s a lot of discussion about the government shutdown, most of which is long, heady and hard to sort through. I know for a lot of veterans, wading through that information to find something applicable is difficult and time consuming. I started wading through this ocean of data this weekend when my dad had made an offhand comment, wondering about his veteran benefits and if they were going to be effected by the shutdown.
High school athletes from across the country have been working hard to prepare for their upcoming seasons. No matter the sport, the main objective is to have fun and compete against other schools. Fathead’s High School Team Video Challenge is no different.
What exactly is Fathead’s High School Team Video Challenge? With high school athletic teams ready to kick off their seasons, Fathead is offering one high school team the opportunity to get a Fathead makeover. All YOU have to do is tell Fathead in a video of 60 seconds or less why your team is most deserving. Pretty simple, right?
To be eligible, all videos must be submitted by October 3, 2012 via webcam or file upload. After Fathead narrows the field down to its top five finalists, YOU vote for the winning team.
By now, you’re probably wondering about the grand prize. For starters, individual members of the winning team will receive a custom die-cut Fathead. That’s right. You can submit any personal photograph you want and you’ll get it back in the form of a Fathead. Extras will be provided to put around your school gym, locker room, etc. along with five Fathead murals of your team competing.
If that’s not enough, your team will also be featured on Fathead’s homepage. Think about it. You put hard work in every day in the classroom, during practice and games to be the best you can be. All you have to do now is come up with a short video and your team could win the prizes listed above. A quick video compared to all the other hard work you put in is nothing.
After Fathead narrows the videos down to five finalists, you have until November 5, 2012 to vote. Complete rules and regulations can be found here.
Do you have what it takes to come out on top of the Fathead High School Team Video Challenge? Submit your video and find out!
