*UPDATE March 21: Thanks to a wild start to the men’s college basketball tournament that saw upset after upset, there are officially no perfect brackets remaining. That doesn’t mean the fun is over just yet. Twenty people will win $100,000 to put toward buying, refinancing or remodeling a home. The Quicken Loans Zing Blog will keep you updated!

*UPDATE March 20: Registration for the Quicken Loans Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge with Yahoo! Sports is officially closed. Thank you to everyone who entered!

Under normal circumstances, asking, “What would you do with a billion dollars?” seems like a pointless question. Might as well ask, “How many kneecaps does a snake have?” Huh? What? Why would you even ask that? A snake has zero kneecaps, and I will never have a billion dollars.

But times have changed. Now that Quicken Loans, in partnership with Berkshire Hathaway, is offering you a chance to win a billion dollars by creating a perfect bracket for the upcoming 2014 men’s college basketball championship, becoming a billionaire is closer to reality than ever.

So now, that question might strike you a little differently. Now that you have a real chance of becoming a billionaire, what would you do with that money? Me personally, I’d buy as many French bulldogs as possible. But what would you do? Don’t worry, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Forbes put together a handy interactive guide that shows you just how far a billion dollars can get you (spoiler alert: PRETTY FAR). Click here to see Forbes’ take on what a billion dollars can buy you.

Don’t forget to like us on Facebook so you don’t miss your chance to win the billion dollar grand prize. And while you’re waiting for the tournament to start, why don’t you tell us what you’d do with a billion dollars in the comments!

I WOULD BRING A BASKETBALL TEAM TO BALTIMORE MARYLAND AND CALL THEM THE B-MORE BALLERS, WHERE SO MANY BALL PLAYERS HAVE GOT THERE START. WHEN WE ALLOWED THE NBA TO REMOVE THE BULLETS A.K.A WIZARDS THEY HAVEN’T BEEN SWAT SINCE. SECOND, I WOULD CREATE MORE CONSTRUCTION IN MY CITY, BECAUSE WE ARE THE NEXT BIG CITY TO OUR NATIONS CAPITAL SO WE NEED TO LOOK AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS.THIRD BRING BIG INDUSTRY BACK HOME SUCH AS STEEL. THEN I WOULD TAKEN A ISLAND VACTION WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
