Last year at this time, we were gearing up for the first ever Quicken Loans Carrier Classic – a basketball game taking place on the deck of an aircraft carrier in honor of veterans on Veterans Day. Not only was it an amazing time and a great, fun way to honor those who serve – and have served – in the armed forces, but it was also a good way for Quicken Loans to showcase just how much we support our troops.
This year, we’ve built a strong partnership with Stewart-Haas racing and are celebrating Veterans Day the NASCAR way. I’m super excited about watching the #39 car race this Sunday, all decked out in its camo finest – that is, if I can see it! Ha! (ba-dump-bump…groan)
In addition to sharing how we plan to support our veterans, I wanted to highlight some of the ways other places are showing their support through discounts on their services.
