Treasury to Auction $35 Billion of 2-Year Notes Today – Market Update

The Treasury will be auctioning $35 billion of 2-year notes this afternoon. Also, the two-day FOMC meeting and tonight’s State of the Union Address may have an impact on the market.

What’s Up on Wall Street?

It was a fairly quiet evening in financial news yesterday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 11.66 points (0.99 percent). The Nasdaq Composite also closed down 2.53 points (0.09 percent). Finally, the S&P 500 closed up 0.62 points (0.05 percent).
