Capital Markets Update – Strong Expectations for Pending Home Sales
Concerns that the Greece debt crisis is not yet solved by the bailout plan announced this weekend and a slowdown in production for Chinese manufacturing are giving a boost to Treasuries and mortgage bonds. The expectation for pending home sales is for a strong showing of +3.7%. This is primary due to homes selling before the pending tax-credit expiration.
