It’s something we’ve know around here for a long time. But now, according to ABC affiliate WXYZ here in Detroit, it’s offical. Dan Gilbert is Detroit’s Newsmaker of the Year
Quicken Loans Chairman and Founder Dan Gilbert was a guest host today on CNBC’s Squawk Box. It’s was an interesting two-hour segment, featuring discussions on the dreaded Fiscal Cliff (and how it could affect mortgage rates – can you say “go up?”), Dodd Frank legislation to regulate the mortgage industry, and the housing industry in general.
Dan Gilbert, chairman and founder of Quicken Loans, took to the airwaves to fill in for Paul W. Smith on WJR AM 760 here in Detroit. Listen to the clips here!
Anyone following this blog knows that we’re (Quicken Loans) dedicated to rebuilding Detroit. Any anyone who’s ever read my posts knows that I grew up and went to high school right here in downtown Detroit and I would like NOTHING more than to see my hometown return to its days of glory.
