Earlier this year when the opportunity was presented to design a banner that would welcome 2,000 more Quicken Loans team members to Detroit, I jumped at the chance. I had a lot of thoughts, but they were just random ideas that were either funny or looked cool, but they had no deeper meaning or substance.

Dang. Seems like Detroit is all over the news nowadays. And when I say news, I mean the big guys – the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. Both recently did great pieces on Detroit’s recent economic growth and how business and the local creative community are gaining momentum in the city.
