Every week, I learn more and more about NASCAR than I had ever expected.

I learned that drivers have favorite racing tracks, and I even learned about what a fab shop foreman is and does.

The only thing that I love more than learning is sharing my wealth of knowledge with my loyal Watch-It Wednesday fans out there.

For instance, did you know that NASCAR drivers have spotters as an extra set of eyes on the track?

It makes perfect sense – the more eyes on the track the better for the driver. Come to think of it, I’d love to have a spotter for me while I’m driving just to yell at me and say “Eric! What the heck are you looking at over there!? You didn’t see that Corolla?!!”

We sat down with Jimmy Kitchens (even though his name sounds like a mob boss, I can assure you he’s not) to see what life like a spotter for Stewart-Haas Racing and Ryan Newman is like.

Take a look at the video below to see what he had to say, or click here if you can’t view it.
