This weekend, Quicken Loans is proud to help raise funds for the Children’s Tumor Foundation at the 50th Rolex 24 At Daytona. We’ll be sponsoring the No. 4 eBay Motors/Children’s Tumor Foundation/Racing4Research Porsche GT3 team in the Grand Am race in Daytona Beach, FL.
So who are these Racing4Research people? I’ll let their website tell you their mission statement:
“Developed by the Children’s Tumor Foundation, the Racing4Research program utilizes competitive, professional auto racing as a vehicle to increase awareness of neurofibromatosis and raise funds for research through corporate sponsorship, personal donations, and individual fundraising by NF Heroes: children and adults from around the country who live with neurofibromatosis.”
The Rolex 24 At Daytona is a 24-hour sports car race, the season opener for the Rolex Series, held at Daytona International Speedway. Sports car races combine purpose-built race cars with those typically found on the street, competing at permanent road racing facilities and temporary street circuits.
Because of the endurance factor of the race, the No. 4 Porsche team will feature four drivers: Ryan Eversley, Justin Bell, Daniel Graeff, and Ron Yarab.
For Quicken Loans, the best part of the sponsorship is the great cause we get to support.
“We are excited to continue our partnership with the Children’s Tumor Foundation, and we’re doing our part to increase awareness of NF and the need for a cure,” said Jay Farner, President of Quicken Loans. “We look forward to taking to the track and the Internet to raise funds and the visibility of the Children’s Tumor Foundation.”
Best of luck to the No. 4 team!

Yes! The only thing I have found worthwhile on Zing!
Motorsports. As a former roadracer and huge Grand Am/prototype fan, this is excellent.
I always liked Justin Bell too, so I’ll be rooting for the Racing4Research Porsche!
