If you’re thinking about using Quicken Loans for a mortgage, you may be wondering how we help you navigate through the complex mortgage process.  One of the ways is by offering cutting-edge online tools like MyQL. But we don’t stop there. We are constantly looking for ways to make the mortgage process even easier, which brings us to our recent updates to MyQL.

If you already use Quicken Loans for your mortgage, you’ll notice some changes to your sign-in process. We’ve made logging into MyQL easier and a lot prettier. Check it out:

Oooohhhh. Fancy, huh? The colors are a lot nicer, but these updates aren’t only cosmetic. We’ve made it much easier for you to login. Instead of answering security questions, you’ll just have to enter the last 4 digits of your social security number – and that’s only if you’re logging in from a computer or device for the first time.

If you’re already in process or if you’re making your mortgage payments to us, you may be redirected back to the MyQL you’re used to. As Abraham Lincoln once said, “The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.” We’re rolling our new baby out in phases. Don’t worry, you’ll see the whole thing soon enough.   2. My question is, my wife and I want to refinance our home to get the payments down. We filled Bankruptcy last year, so our credit rate is not so good. My wife is on unemployment and going to nursing school, she graduates in December, and I am currently on Long Term Disability. My bring home is $1971 and my wifes unemployment is $328 week. Is there any program you have that can help us? Thanks.

  3. I have just closed on my quicken mortgage loan and i can’t find a way to set up autopay directly from my bank. My other lender had this and I used it from the start of the loan. I have been to My QL but there seems to be no area for this. Am I missing something? Help is appreciated.

  4. I have recently contacted Quicken to inquire about a possible mortgage. After reading all of these complaints about not being able to set up an account online, I am NOT going to be seeking a mortgage with Quicken. I was doing this to avoid having to make an appt with a local bank, but I see no easy way to get my loan processed, especially if other clients are having such difficulty paying online.

  5. I currently have a Quicken Loan and was wondering if Quicken offers a “biweekly mortgage program”? A biweekly mortgage program drafts 1/2 of your total mortgage payment out of your bank account every other week. This results in 26 half payments, or 13 full payments each year. Since only 12 payments are required to be made per year, the 13th is applied directly to the principal amount due, thereby reducing the balance faster than if regular payments are made.

      Thanks for reaching out to us about biweekly payments. Here’s how biweekly payments work at Quicken Loans:
      – The first half must be deducted at least two weeks prior to your due date.
      – The second half must be deducted on or prior to your due date.
      – Twice a year, three half-payments will be deducted in a calendar month, ultimately resulting in two additional half-payments annually.

      To set up biweekly payments, please call our Client Advocates at (800) 508-0944, option 3, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET.

  6. Hello? Where’s the “Set Up Your Online Account Access” button??? This includes me and everyone else out there who has a new Quicken Loans loan account! It is 1:33am now and I’m certain nobody will answer your phone even if I called. Not to mention I have a cold and am coughing every 5 secs.

    As a backup, I added Quicken Loans as a New Biller in my bank’s bill payment website. It found Quicken Loans, but wouldn’t accept the payment zipcode without the zip+4 code (no, it did not ask me for any other part of the payment address). I have the payment address listed as ___ on my loan documents, so I typed in “___” into the zip+4 field, and that was accepted. I hope that this is correct. If not, someone should quickly email me now.

  7. I have the same complain that other people before me – there is no way to set up a new account for online payment although the bill says that I can do it. If there is no such a feature, it should be clearly said that if someone wants to set up an account he/she has to call tech service (not ” If you would rather speak with someone, a Client Advocate is available to help you” – this is misleading). I spent almost 30 minutes trying to figure out how to do it (other banks have it). Also on the bill I would like to see more details on Principal and Interest (separate amounts not the total one) and Enscrow Balance breakdown. And why doesn’t the bill show the payoff amount? If my account doesn’t have all this information online, I need to call Client Service for every question I may have. Who has time for this?
    I don’t know what were the reasons for this design but considering how this kind of information is being presented to the clients of other banks it’s disappointing to go back in time.

  8. just spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how to create my online account. this is just pathetic. there is not even an instruction on how on could create this. i had to find this page after multiple searches. it is absurd to have to call someone to setup an account.

  9. So you really have to call to set up an account? then why does the statement say just go online? shouldn’t it say to call and have someone set up your online account? Why isn’t there an option to set up an account online? I have seen several complaints in this comment section about it, as well as many responses saying people will be contacted and the message passed on, but I think what people really want is an easy way to just go online to set up their online account. This is possible with banks, credit cards, insurance payments, etc. Why can’t it be that simple here?

  11. I also have a loan recently purchased by Quicken. I have a billing statement in front of me but apparently cannot set up an online acct without speaking with someone? C’mon – there are ways to do this all online. I shouldn’t have to make that phone call with technology the way it is, and I hate the phone with the white hot passion of the sun. Really need to revamp the online process.


  12. I have new mortgage serviced by Quicken Loans. I want to the site to set up online autopay but can’t set up an account. It’s 2012, every other bank I have dealt with makes this process simple. Your site has nothing to set up an account but the first billing statement says I can pay online. Am I missing something here?

  13. This web page does not show the escrow balance, only what amount is applied to the payment.
    It is imparative that an escrow balance be displayed. We need to know where, how much and who the money is going to and what is left. It is our money. Thank You.

  14. I am a new borrower, (a re-fi) and I would like to autopay 1/2 of every mortgage payment based on a bi-weekly salary paid to me. So, for every paycheck I receive, I will be making an automated payment value of 1/2 of my mortgage payment. This will result in essentially making 12 mortgage payments per year plus one monthly payment that is entirely all principal, decreasing my principal significantly. I was previously with Wells Fargo, and they offerred this payment option and I loved it. Does Quicken offer this same opportunity? Good job so far with the refi (Amelia Hubble is my loan representative).

Have a mortgage with Quicken, and had set up my payment schedule on line…no problem, easy to manage my account, payments, etc. However now I need to ammend the payment schedule but the once very well put together site is no more user friendly, nor helpful…can’t find the link, if there is indeed one, to get to how to make changes to my payments. Why did you take a well designed site and make it so…well.. amateurish?!
    It used to be a pleasure to come to your web site to check on my account, and to check progress, etc. but now forget it.
    Have been approached by another company about a refi but told them no as I am with Quicken…but now that I have all this problem trying to manage my account I just might have a look at them…can’t be any worse, and probably a lot better.

  16. I would like to use auto pay and I didn’t see an option to set this up. I don’t have access to my account online as there is no tab to set up the account.

  17. It asks ‘Already have your My Quicken Loans account?’ No I don’t and there is no option on this page to set one up. Please post a link or instructions on how to setup an account. I have 3 Quicken Loans so it would be nice to finally have some online access to them no matter how sparse it may be.

  18. Went to website to make payments and became suspisious and did research to see if it was legit. Please next time send out a message to your clients prior to making changes like this. This day and time can never trust hackers especially when dealing with our bank and entering personal finacial info. Am a little old fashion and really don’t even like making payment online, but do it for convenent purposes.

  19. your website looks suspicuous, like a phishing site. Did I miss the mail from your company announcing that you were doing this, or did you fail to prepare customers? The site looks a lot more immature than I would have expected.
