Last April, actor Mel Gibson and his wife of 28 years, Robyn Moore, filed for divorce. Of course with any divorce comes the dividing of assets. According to a Zillow article, the majority of Gibson’s $900 million worth is tied-up in real estate, so there’s actually not very much cash to be split up.
While some of the properties are actually trusts for his children, the rest of the homes will have to be sold for the final property settlement according to this article.
Zillow reported that last year Gibson listed his Old Mill Farm Estate for $35 million, however even celebrities are not immune to the drop in property values, as the price has now changed to $29,750,000.
But one property isn’t enough. Gibson also listed his Lavender Hill Farm estate for $14.5 million.
This property boasts organic gardens, a fruit orchard, and 2.75 acres of grounds with mature trees. Gibson also remodeled it, and it now has 6 bedrooms, 6 baths, stone or hardwood floors, lighted tennis court, pool, 3 guest houses, 2 offices, detached gym, library, and a garden cabana – whew what a list!
