Last week the Bond Market took a hit as the jobless rate was reported at 7.7 percent, a four-year low. Bernanke reiterated last week that the Fed will continue to buy bonds until there is sustained, substantial improvement in the labor market.
What’s Up on Wall Street?
The Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased 5.34 points (-0.04) while the Nasdaq also fell 7.73 points (-0.24). Also, the S&P 500 dropped 2.21 points (-0.14).
