Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke will make his annual address in Jackson Hole (WY) this afternoon. Investors will be patiently waiting for any hints that reveal a third round of quantitive easing, QE3.
What’s Up On Wall Street?
All of the U.S. indexes closed in the red yesterday as European Central Bank President Mario Draghi stated exceptional measures may be justified to help stabilize the markets. The Dow Jones Industrial Average plunged 107 points (-0.81 %) while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 32.48 points (-1.05 %). Also, the S&P 500 slipped 11.01 points (-0.78 %).
