Markets were flat throughout the day yesterday as focus remains on Friday’s job numbers. The ADP Employment Change report, which can be somewhat of an indication of payroll numbers, came in 7,000 below expectations. Initial and Continuing Jobless Claims were less than expected, giving hope to the prospects of an economic turnaround.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased 12.44 points (-0.10%) while the Nasdaq increased 1.15 points (0.04%). Also, the S&P 500 fell 1.42 points (-0.10%).
