Last week we saw stock prices tumble, which has increased demand for bonds and mortgage-backed securities. The Wall Street Journal reported that US companies are scaling back investment plans at the fastest pace since the recession.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 147.09 points (+1.17%) while the Nasdaq also went up 43.53 points (+1.53%). Likewise, S&P 500 increased 20.41 points (+1.50%).

- 15-Year Fixed Mortgage: 2.625% (3.112% APR)
- 7-Year ARM: 2.50% (3.083% APR)
