On Tuesday, President Obama picked Howard Schmidt, formerly a Bush administration adviser, to serve as the new national cyber-security coordinator. According to Reuters, Schmidt is the president of Information Security Forum.
While cyber security is particularly a concern for online consumers everywhere, here at Quicken Loans, we are especially dedicated to providing the highest security for loan processes and consumer information.
Reuters also reported that Schmidt has over 40 years of experience in government, business, and law enforcement. He also served as chief security officer at Microsoft Corporation previously, and will now coordinate the cyber security policy for both military and civilian agencies.
