By now you probably know that at Quicken Loans, we provide expert advice and amazing client services. And you should know how we also support veterans organizations like Paralyzed Veterans of America because we really care about the men and women who serve in our country’s armed forces. We have partnered with Paralyzed Veterans of America in support of their Mission: ABLE project. Recently, their national president, Bill Lawson, stopped by our Cleveland office to take a tour and learn about what we do on a day-to-day basis.
We woke up this morning to some great news over here at Quicken Loans.
After being ranked #29 on FORTUNE’s “100 Best Companies To Work For” list in 2011, Quicken Loans jumped up 19 spots to the #10 slot in 2012.
That’s right, people – Quicken Loans is a top 10 company to work for according to FORTUNE!
This isn’t some run-of-the-mill ranking system. This is the one-and-only FORTUNE magazine.
FORTUNE developed a comprehensive team member survey that looks at team member satisfaction through questions regarding compensation, empowerment, and training. The survey is randomly distributed to team members, and these results account for two-thirds of the company score. The remaining third is determined through the “Great Place To Work Institute’s” Culture Audit, which looks into benefits, hiring, and recognition.
Being ranked in the top 10 isn’t a surprise to us over here at Quicken Loans. We walk into this phenomenal working environment every morning, and I know many team members will agree with me when I say that most of the time, it doesn’t feel like we’re coming into work. It feels more like we’re spending time with friends and family while being productive.
After all, how many people can say they can play a quick game of ping pong in between meetings?
Congrats Quicken Loans! I’m proud to call myself part of the team.
