That’s a great question.
I’m not sure if I’m even in my dream home, but I’m pretty darn close. I really love my home, and I doubt I’ll move unless I relocate. I’m not totally sure how long it took to find my place, but I probably looked at about 10 houses. We looked at several areas and came across this one.
It was the yard that clinched it for me. It’s the size of a soccer field and I love every inch of it. My dogs love it too.
Anyways, back to the hangout.
We asked our panel of experts this question, and here’s what they had to say:
- Margo Willis of the National Association of REALTORS said, “it depends.” Maybe it’s the first house you see. Maybe it’s number 20. It really depends on the market and it depends on the person who wants to buy.
- Doug Seabolt of In-House Realty said that the average consumer looks at 10 to 12 homes before they decide on one they want to buy. That pretty much makes me average. Average is OK, I guess.
The bottom line is that anyone searching for a home should be patient and should not settle until they find what they want. Anything less will cause regrets done the road.
Anyways, don’t listen to me. Listen to the experts. Here it is – our Google Hangout video.
