It was a day of red to close the trading week on Friday, but all three major indexes saw gains throughout the week. The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 48.90 points (0.39 percent) to close off a rather timid week of trading. The Nasdaq Composite snapped its four-day gain streak by dropping 14.03 points (0.51 percent), and the S&P 500 fell 6.41 points (0.49 percent) to end a four-day gain streak of its own.
