We’re ecstatic to see more retail in the D. And now, with hot retailer Moosejaw opening a brand new pop-up store in downtown Detroit, we can’t wait for the crowds of shoppers to come see what we have to offer. Eoin Comerford, CEO of Moosejaw, will be joining our hosts to talk about the pop-up shop that’s made its home on the corner of Woodward and Grand River. It features a foosball table, disco dressing rooms and living models on display to assist customers. Shopping really doesn’t get more fun than that, and with top outdoor brands like The North Face, Patagonia, Sorel, and more, you’ll be sure to find the perfect holiday gifts for all of your friends and family. Check out Moosejaw’s website to learn more.

With the winter chill in the air, it’s important to remember that not everyone has a warm house to go home to. That’s why Tasha Gray, Executive Director of the Homeless Action Network of Detroit (HAND) will be here to tell us about HAND’s 16th annual Walk Against Homelessness, which takes place tomorrow, November 17. The purpose of the walk is to make a statement that homelessness is a real and solvable problem in our community. The walk will be led by the Michigan Veteran’s Foundation Color Guard, which is comprised of homeless veterans. Check out HANDetroit.com for more information. You won’t want to miss Tasha’s eye-opening talk about homelessness.

Don’t forget to tune in this Friday evening, November 16, at 7 p.m. for all that and more!
