The U.S. Government could not win yesterday in the eyes of the market. If they don’t raise the debt ceiling, the government will default on their debt. If they put some policies in place with the increased debt ceiling, the markets worry that it will slow down growth.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 50.24 points (+0.37%) while the Nasdaq also went up 8.61 points (-+0.27%). The S&P 500 decreased 1.15 points (-0.08%).
