On Thursday, January 10, from 11:45 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., we’re giving New York City a run for their lunchtime money with food trucks at Cadillac Square and Campus Martius Park! Four food trucks will be open for lunch and sweet treats, for that authentic, hustle and bustle experience of big city food.

But if that wasn’t enough, maybe I should tell you about the awesome charity fundraiser we had this afternoon for our friends at Operation Homefront. This afternoon, Operation Homefront Executive Director Sarah Davis, met with our incredible Cleveland banking team so we could present her and the organization with a check for $25,000!

Holiday DLight: Made in Detroit is open for a final weekend before Santa comes down the chimney. Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 20-22, 12 p.m. – 9 p.m., the entire 1200 block of Woodward Avenue between Grand River and Gratiot is open for shopping.

Quicken Loans Chairman and Founder Dan Gilbert was a guest host today on CNBC’s Squawk Box. It’s was an interesting two-hour segment, featuring discussions on the dreaded Fiscal Cliff (and how it could affect mortgage rates – can you say “go up?”), Dodd Frank legislation to regulate the mortgage industry, and the housing industry in general.
