Next time please speak with an appraiser. The information that Dan gave is outdated and flat out incorrect. Per FHA Mortgagee Ltr 05-48 those “mandated repairs” that Dan cited have not been mandated since 2005. An appraisal performed as described by Dan would lead to the appraiser being sanctioned & fined by most state regulatory boards.
Please use your podium to help people understand rather than to disseminate dated and erroneous information.
Wow, I just came across these videos and honestly like what I see. I would definitely get a real appraiser to either co-host or something. That would be a really cool thing to see. I can’t wait to see more!
